Chris grew up playing competitive soccer in Kansas City, all the way through high school. While he was there, his high school won numerous state championships, as well as one National Championship. He went on to play for his college club team, but due to injuries & time commitments, was unable to finish out his college career at the college level. During his playing years, he refereed around the area for several years.
When Chris moved to Florida from Kansas City, he began his coaching career at IMG Academy doing camps & coaching part-time with their soccer department. He has coached camps all over the country, as well as run his own camps. Chris spent 2 years coaching for the Venice Falcons before making the switch to Braden River. He also currently coaches the girls program at Manatee High School and still coaches individual sessions for both boys & girls at different ages & skill levels. Chris currently holds a D License from US Soccer and plans on enrolling for his C License in the near future.
