Braden River Soccer Club kindly asks all of our spectators to please keep the well being of our children in mind. Soccer should be fun for everyone.
With this in mind, we ask that everyone please adhere to the following sideline etiquette:
Please sit at least 4 feet behind the sideline.
Please do not sit on the corner flag, please provide at least 4 feet of space to allow our players to take a corner kick without any interference.
Please do not sit behind the goal as it is distracting to our players and can be unsafe.
- Please do not yell at referees, opposing players or even your own child during a game! Referee’s do the best they can, keep in mind they are someone’s child, some referees are as young as 12 or 13 years old. Please do not disrespect them.
- Yelling instructions to your child during a game is most likely going to be contradictory and very confusing to your child during a game. It will also most likely be contradictory to what his/her coach may be trying to teach them. Please Let the coach do his/her job, you provide positive cheer, encouragement and snacks after the game. 🙂 Let’s have fun and enjoy the game!
