2017 FALL RECREATIONAL SOCCER SEASON INFORMATION

AGES - 4 - 18 (must be 4 by October 1) Everyone Plays!
COST - U5 - U7 = $125, U8 - U10 = $135, U11 - U18 = $145 - Cost includes: shorts, jersey, socks, referee fees and all training sessions (including extra sessions with professional trainers).
PARENT MEETINGS – All necessary information will be sent out via email around the 1st or 2nd week of September 2017.
COACHES - Volunteer coaches are always needed!! If you selected to volunteer as your child’s coach during the registration process, we will be in touch soon. If you did not sign up during the registration process but would like to volunteer as a coach, please email: email@example.com We will be conducting two preseason coaching clinics to help everyone familiarize themselves with the basics and explain some rule changes for certain age groups. This is a great opportunity to obtain some good information. They are tentatively scheduled for 9/12/17 and 9/14/17 at 6:30pm.
TEAM ASSIGNMENTS – Players/Parents should hear from their coaches by 9/11/2017, please give it a few days, if you do not hear from your coach by Friday, 9/15/17... please email firstname.lastname@example.org
SPECIAL REQUESTS – Please note that the Club has decided to not honor requests for players to be with specific coaches or allow all or partial teams to remain together from the fall season. We found that the teams that were doing so got an unfair advantage and it was causing some very lopsided games. As such, we will allow the coaches to keep two players, their child and an assistant coach’s child. If there is not an assistant, the coach can reserve one other player. We do not anticipate making exceptions to this. If you have made a request for a specific coach on your registration form, we will not be considering those and will also not be sending individuals emails out letting you know that.
We will, however, honor requests for specific practices nights and, as always, will do our best to accommodate those requests. We also try our best to accommodate requests to be placed with another player if those requests are reasonable.
PRACTICE – Sessions will begin the week of 9/18/17. Your assigned coach will advise you of your practice night and time when they contact you. Generally, teams will be practicing on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays most beginning at 6:00pm but some may start earlier. Sessions will be at our fields located behind Lakewood Ranch High School (5490 Lakewood Ranch Blvd).
ADDITIONAL PRACTICE NIGHT – Each player will be able to train with our club's professional trainers. This will be performed on Wednesday's from 6:15pm to 7:15pm starting Wednesday, 10/11/17. There will be no session on Wednesday, 11/22/17 due to Thanksgiving Holiday.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED BY PLAYERS – Players are required to wear shin guards at all practices and games. They should also bring a ball with them to each practice. Ball sizes are: U5-U8 – Size 3; U9 – U12 – Size 4; and U13 – U18 – Size 5. Soccer cleats are recommended for all ages. Please include ample water and most important a winning smile 🙂
GAMES – Fall is a 10-game season and games are played on Saturdays. The games will be played at our fields located behind Lakewood Ranch High School. The first game will be Saturday, October 7, 2017 and the last game on Saturday, December 16, 2017. There are no games on Saturday November 24th due to the Thanksgiving Holiday. In addition, U11 - U18 players may have some games hosted by other clubs depending on the number of players/teams registered.
