Braden River Soccer Club (BRSC) offers recreational boys & girls soccer programs for aspiring athletes that are passionate about the game. We believe in providing all local community soccer players an opportunity to participate in the game of soccer at a level that meets their developmental needs (i.e., physical, mental, and emotional status).

This developmental program offers an instructional and participation program in the Fall and Spring. Our boys, girls, and coed programs are available for ages 4 through 18.

With approximately 500 players per season, this program provides a diverse player pool and fun competition. Recreational soccer is available to all of our youth regardless of their playing ability.

Are coaches parent volunteers?

Yes... coaches are always parent volunteers! Without our volunteers, there is no Rec Soccer.

If you wish to coach a team.... during the registration process, you have an opportunity to select to be a coach. If you plan on coaching a team (THANK YOU), we will be in touch soon. If you did not sign up to coach during the registration process but would like to volunteer as a coach, please email: brscac@bradenriversoccer.org

When will team assignments be announced?

If you have not heard from your coach by September 3rd, please email brscac@bradenriversoccer.org

Does BRSC take special requests?

Please note that the Club does not honor special requests for players to be with specific coaches or allow all or partial teams to remain together. We found that the teams that were doing so got an unfair advantage and it was causing some very lopsided games. As such, we will allow the coaches to keep one or two players, their child, and an assistant coach’s child. If there is no assistant coach, the coach can reserve one other player. We do not anticipate making exceptions to this. If you have made a request for a specific coach on your registration form, we will not honor the request.

We will however honor requests for specific practices nights and, as always, will do our best to accommodate those requests. We always try our best to accommodate requests to be placed with another player if those requests are reasonable.

When will practice sessions start for the Fall season, what nights during the week?

Practice sessions begin the week of 9/6/2021.

Practice days will be on Wednesday & Friday. But, practice sessions are at our fields located at *Lakewood Ranch Park.

We are planning for a start date of Saturday 9/18/21 and the last game would be 11/6/2021. Game times start at 10:00 am on Saturday's. Rain date if necessary would be 11/13/2021.

What equipment will my child need to play soccer?

Players are required to wear shin guards at all practices and games, no ands, ifs, or buts. This is a nationwide rule.

They should also bring a ball with them to each practice.

Ball sizes are:
U5 - U8 – Size 3
U9 – U12 – Size 4
U13 – U18 – Size 5

Soccer cleats are recommended for all ages, but not required. Please ensure they are soccer cleats, as baseball/softball cleats are not permitted!

Please include ample water and most important a winning smile 🙂

All rosters are created by a random selection process.
