Developing A Foundation For Success

Have Fun, Make Friends, and Get Better!

About Our Recreational Program

Braden River Soccer Club (BRSC) offers recreational boys & girls soccer programs for aspiring athletes that are passionate about the game. We believe in providing all local community soccer players an opportunity to participate in the game of soccer at a level that meets their developmental needs (i.e., physical, mental, and emotional status).

This developmental program offers an instructional and participation program in the Fall and Spring. Our boys, girls, and coed programs are available for ages 4 through 18.

With approximately 500 players per season, this program provides a diverse player pool and fun competition. Recreational soccer is available to all of our youth regardless of their playing ability.

Yes... coaches are always parent volunteers! Without our volunteers, there is no Rec Soccer.

If you wish to coach a team.... during the registration process, you have an opportunity to select to be a coach. If you plan on coaching a team (THANK YOU), we will be in touch soon. If you did not sign up to coach during the registration process but would like to volunteer as a coach, please email: brscac@bradenriversoccer.org

You should hear from your coach regarding your practice night and time by
March 3rd, 2023

Please note that the Club does not honor special requests for players to be with specific coaches or allow all or partial teams to remain together. We found that the teams that were doing so got an unfair advantage and it was causing some very lopsided games. As such, we will allow the coaches to keep one or two players, their child, and an assistant coach’s child. If there is no assistant coach, the coach can reserve one other player. We do not anticipate making exceptions to this. If you have made a request for a specific coach on your registration form, we will not honor the request.

We will however honor requests for specific practices nights and, as always, will do our best to accommodate those requests.

Spring practice sessions will begin the week of March 5, 2023. All practices will be held on either Wednesday or Friday evenings. They will all be held at our home fields at Lakewood Ranch Park.

Games for our Spring program will be held on Sunday afternoons with the exception of April 8th and May 13th which will be held on Saturday. The first game weekend will be March 26th. There will be a total of 8 games with the last game being held on Sunday, May 21 st.

Players are required to wear shin guards at all practices and games, no ands, ifs, or buts. This is a nationwide rule.

They should also bring a ball with them to each practice.

Ball sizes are:
U5 - U8 – Size 3
U9 – U12 – Size 4
U13 – U18 – Size 5

Soccer cleats are recommended for all ages, but not required. Please ensure they are soccer cleats, as baseball/softball cleats are not permitted!

Please include ample water and most important a winning smile 🙂

All rosters are created by a random selection process.

Games for our Spring program will be held on Sundays starting on March 26th with the exception of April 8th and May 13th which will be held on Saturdays. Games will run until May 21 st for a total of 8 games.
