Braden River Soccer Club (BRSC) offers recreational boys & girls soccer programs for aspiring athletes that are passionate about the game. We believe in providing all local community soccer players an opportunity to participate in the game of soccer at a level that meets their developmental needs (i.e., physical, mental, and emotional status).
This developmental program offers an instructional and participation program in the Fall and Spring. Our boys, girls, and coed programs are available for ages 4 through 18.
With approximately 500 players per season, this program provides a diverse player pool and fun competition. Recreational soccer is available to all of our youth regardless of their playing ability.
The 2023 Spring season will consist of:
11 practices (beginning week of March 5th). Practices are once per week on either Wednesday or Friday evening.
8 games (beginning March 26th and concluding on May 21st). ALL games will be held on Sunday afternoons except for April 8th and May 13th.
** ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Registration will close on 2/5/2023 and age groups will close prior if they fill up before that date.

Yes... coaches are always parent volunteers! Without our volunteers, there is no Rec Soccer.
If you wish to coach a team.... during the registration process, you have an opportunity to select to be a coach. If you plan on coaching a team (THANK YOU), we will be in touch soon. If you did not sign up to coach during the registration process but would like to volunteer as a coach, please email: brscac@bradenriversoccer.org
Please note that the Club does not honor special requests for players to be with specific coaches or allow all or partial teams to remain together. We found that the teams that were doing so got an unfair advantage and it was causing some very lopsided games. As such, we will allow the coaches to keep one or two players, their child, and an assistant coach’s child. If there is no assistant coach, the coach can reserve one other player. We do not anticipate making exceptions to this. If you have made a request for a specific coach on your registration form, we will not honor the request.
We will however honor requests for specific practices nights and, as always, will do our best to accommodate those requests.
Players are required to wear shin guards at all practices and games, no ands, ifs, or buts. This is a nationwide rule.
They should also bring a ball with them to each practice.
Ball sizes are:
U5 - U8 – Size 3
U9 – U12 – Size 4
U13 – U18 – Size 5
Soccer cleats are recommended for all ages, but not required. Please ensure they are soccer cleats, as baseball/softball cleats are not permitted!
Please include ample water and most important a winning smile 🙂
All rosters are created by a random selection process.
The games are played at our fields located behind Lakewood Ranch High School.
Please Note: U14 - U18 may play some games at either Blackstone Park*
Yes... Winning Photography will return to ensure all your picture needs are exceeded. Once game schedules are created, shortly thereafter a photo schedule will be posted.
Unless you opted out and paid the $50, you are required to provide 2 hours per child with a maximum of 4 hours during the season. This will include working the concession stand, working in the office, being a team parent, helping with practice/games when the coach needs it. Helping with field setup and/or teardown. Remember...our Rec Program runs solely on volunteers, without you, there is no rec program.

US Youth Soccer Parents Guide an Introduction to Youth Soccer
This document from U.S. Soccer’s Recognize to Recover initiative outlines facts about concussions and some symptoms that coaches and parents should look for in their players. It also answers a few commonly asked questions about what parents should do if their child has sustained a concussion.
This document is to inform you of proper sideline behavior while watching our youth play soccer.
This document is to inform you of proper sideline behavior while watching our youth play soccer.
1. Please sit at least 4 feet behind the sideline.
2. Please do not sit on the corner flag, please provide at least 4 feet of space to allow our players to take a corner kick without any interference.
3. Please do not sit behind the goal as it is distracting to our players and can be unsafe.
4. Please do not yell at referees, opposing players, or even your own child during a game! Referees do the best they can, keep in mind they are someone’s child, some referees are as young as 12 or 13 years old. Please do not disrespect them.
5. Yelling instructions to your child... It will most likely be contradictory to what his/her coach may be trying to teach them. Please let the coach do his/her job, you provide positive cheer, encouragement, and snacks after the game. Let’s have fun and enjoy the game!
If you still want to order your child's photos, it's not to late!
