About Our Recreational Program

Braden River Soccer Club (BRSC) offers recreational boys & girls soccer programs for aspiring athletes that are passionate about the game. We believe in providing all local community soccer players an opportunity to participate in the game of soccer at a level that meets their developmental needs (i.e., physical, mental, and emotional status).

 

This developmental program offers an instructional and participation program in the Fall and Spring. Our boys, girls, and coed programs are available for ages 4 through 18.

 

With approximately 500 players per season, this program provides a diverse player pool and fun competition. Recreational soccer is available to all of our youth regardless of their playing ability.

About Our Competitive Program

Braden River Soccer Club (BRSC) offers elite boys & girls soccer programs for committed athletes that are passionate about elevating their game. With a long history of success and more than 500 competitive athletes in our program, BRSC has continually produced top players and competitive teams.

 

We offer U8-U19 teams and various levels including premier, elite and select. Players will be placed in an environment where they will compete and be challenged with the ability to move up based on performance.

About TOPSoccer

US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a recreational sports program for children and adults with intellectual, emotional, or physical disabilities offered only through local US Youth Soccer-affiliated soccer clubs. TOPSoccer provides people with special needs an opportunity to play soccer in a structured environment that is safe, fun, supportive, and inclusive.

 

Typical diagnoses of TOPSoccer players include autism spectrum disorders (ASD), Down syndrome, ADHD, cerebral palsy (CP), as well as other physical and behavioral conditions. TOPSoccer allows for participation in a community-based sports program without the uneasiness about a perception of lack of ability.

 

Unique to TOPSoccer is the pairing up of each player with a volunteer ‘Buddy’ who stays with that player every day, throughout the season, and who supports them and makes sure they are safe and having fun!

The ECNL Regional League is a highly regarded soccer league that operates within the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) structure. It is designed to provide a competitive playing environment for talented youth soccer players across various regions. The league focuses on player development, high-quality competition, and exposure to college scouts.

US Youth Soccer is a nationwide organization that promotes, fosters, and develops the sport of soccer among children and teenagers in the United States. Established in 1974, it represents a broad network of more than 3 million players ranging from age 5 to 19, as well as 900,000 volunteers and administrators, and over 300,000 dedicated coaches, mostly volunteers. US Youth Soccer organizes various programs, tournaments, and championships at local, state, regional, and national levels, providing an avenue for young athletes to nurture their skills, build sportsmanship, and engage in healthy competition. Its key missions are to make soccer a pleasant, safe, and rewarding experience for all involved, fostering physical, mental, and emotional growth.

The Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization that serves as the governing body for youth soccer in the state of Florida. As an affiliate of US Youth Soccer and the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), it seeks to promote and develop the sport of soccer for children and teenagers throughout Florida. FYSA’s mission extends to include fostering physical, mental, and emotional growth, encouraging good sportsmanship, and creating a safe and positive environment for all participants. It organizes various leagues, tournaments, coaching education programs, and player development initiatives to ensure a holistic approach to the sport. With its extensive network of clubs and programs, FYSA is committed to creating opportunities for young athletes of all skill levels to participate in and enjoy the game of soccer.

The Florida State Premier League (FSPL) is a highly competitive youth soccer league that is facilitated by the Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA). It caters to the most skilled and committed teams in Florida, offering a platform for the top-ranked youth teams to compete against each other. The league emphasizes player development and the enhancement of technical skill sets, with a keen focus on maintaining a high level of integrity and sportsmanship. Teams in the FSPL compete for the chance to participate in regional and national competitions, which provides an excellent opportunity for talented young athletes to gain exposure and experience. The FSPL underscores its commitment to fostering a challenging, yet rewarding environment where youth soccer players can grow and advance in their soccer careers.

US Club Soccer is a national organization and member of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) that is committed to the development and support of soccer clubs in the United States. Founded in 2001, it aims to foster the growth and improvement of soccer clubs in order to create the best possible development environment for players of all ages. Its members include youth and adult clubs from across the country, ranging from small local clubs to larger organizations. US Club Soccer provides a framework for leagues, offering registration, league sanctioning, insurance, and other services. Additionally, it runs a number of high-profile youth soccer competitions including the National Premier Leagues (NPL) and the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL). Its key mission is to advance the sport through the support of a club-centric model that prioritizes long-term player development over short-term results.

The US Youth Soccer (USYS) Sunshine Conference is a competitive youth soccer league that forms part of the USYS National League structure. It comprises teams primarily from Florida, southern Georgia, and the southernmost parts of Alabama. The Sunshine Conference serves as a platform for teams to compete at high levels of play, fostering the development and visibility of youth athletes. Its top finishers can earn a spot in the USYS National League Playoffs and receive opportunities to participate in other national events. In this way, the Sunshine Conference provides a pathway for talented young players to progress in their soccer careers, promoting both individual skills and team dynamics, while emphasizing good sportsmanship and a love for the game.

The US Youth Soccer (USYS) National League represents the apex of competitive youth soccer in the United States. Established in 2007, it is a part of the USYS competitive structure and provides a high-level, year-round playing platform for the best youth soccer teams. Teams in the National League earn their place based on a proven track record of success in USYS regional and national competitions. This ensures a consistently high standard of play and promotes intense competition. The National League offers additional exposure to collegiate, professional, and U.S. National Team coaches and provides teams with the opportunity to face top competition from across the country. Ultimately, the USYS National League aims to enhance the soccer experience of the players and create opportunities for teams and their players to advance to the USYS National Championships.

The United Soccer Association is a 501 (C) 3 non profit organization who’s primary purpose is to schedule youth games, and ensure referees are present at each game. 44 club affiliates and 502 teams, with 3500 games scheduled yearly.

The National Premier Leagues (NPL) is a national competition platform created by US Club Soccer to elevate and change the competitive youth soccer landscape. Established in 2011, the NPL extends developmental principles espoused by US Club Soccer into more geographically targeted, league-based competitions around the country. These leagues are designed to provide a unified, league-based national developmental platform with the highest level of competition in given geographic areas, and to elevate and change the youth soccer experience for the better. Top teams from each NPL (which are usually league champions) qualify for the NPL Finals, where they compete for a national championship. By providing high-level, consistent, and meaningful competition, the NPL seeks to enhance player development and coaching education throughout the country.

Florida Club League 1 is a top-tier, club-based youth soccer competition in Florida, often referred to as FCL 1. Operating under the auspices of the Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA), it serves as a platform for high-level competition among the best youth soccer clubs in the state. The league promotes the principles of good sportsmanship, teamwork, and skill development, and strives to offer a competitive and developmental environment for its participating clubs and teams. FCL 1’s goal is to provide opportunities for talented youth soccer players to compete at a high level and advance their soccer careers, with the potential of being noticed by collegiate, regional, and even national team selectors. By fostering a competitive spirit, it seeks to motivate the young athletes to enhance their performance and contribute to the growth of soccer in Florida.

Florida Club League 2, also known as FCL 2, is a competitive youth soccer league that operates within the framework of the Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA). The league provides an avenue for youth soccer teams within Florida that are looking for competitive play, but are positioned at a level below the top-tier Florida Club League 1. FCL 2 is focused on player development and the promotion of good sportsmanship, and it provides teams with a structured and consistent season of games. This league not only cultivates a love for the game of soccer among its participants, but it also seeks to enhance individual skills and team dynamics. Ultimately, FCL 2 aims to provide a solid foundation for teams and players, preparing them for potential progression to higher levels of competition, such as FCL 1, and contributing to the overall growth and improvement of youth soccer in Florida.

 

The Florida Club D-League, typically known as FCL D-League, is a developmental youth soccer league in the state of Florida, governed by the Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA). The FCL D-League offers a competitive platform for clubs and teams that are more focused on player development and less on the high-intensity competition of the higher tiers, such as FCL 1 and 2. It aims to nurture a love for the game of soccer, while also focusing on enhancing individual skills, teamwork, and understanding of the sport among its participants. The league provides a safe and supportive environment for players to learn and grow, making it an ideal starting point for young soccer enthusiasts who are beginning to understand the sport’s competitive aspect. By promoting good sportsmanship, a learning mindset, and the joy of participation, FCL D-League contributes to the broader effort to enhance youth soccer in Florida.
