The health and safety of every player in our club is our highest priority. This includes both their physical and emotional well-being, so that our environment is both fun and safe for everyone.

The coaches and other volunteer adults participating in our club are required as part of our risk management protocol to submit background checks, Heads Up concussion protocol training, as well as Safe Sport certification each season in order to participate at Braden River Soccer Club.

"It's our goal to create a platform for athletes in our area to grow, learn & love soccer in a safe environment," says Director of Coaching, Gjoko Tasevski.

The Braden River Soccer Club couldn’t be more proud of Coach Raquel for obtaining his National “C” License. Coach Raquel Standifer is currently the 2012 Academy & 2006 Premier Coach and spent the past six months preparing and conquering the test.

The National “C” License course consists of approximately 25 classroom hours and 45 field sessions hours. Classroom sessions involve active candidate participation and use game and training videos as a learning tool.

“I am super excited to use all the strategies that we learend. Different teaching strategies, coaching strategies. It was overwhelming honestly, six months. I have it, I am excited and looking forward to the season.”

Last year was quite a ride for this young, dedicated group of boys as they made a real impact for the club. They posted a 44-8-8 record over ten months and won six tournament championships. The team was fortunate enough to get some press along the way and this recent article just dropped.

You’ll get some insight into the boys, their great coach (now our Youth Academy Director), and see what made this team so unique. Be sure to check it out!

The Braden River Soccer Club couldn’t be more proud of Coach Luis Florez for obtaining his National “C” License. Coach Florez is currently the 2014 Academy Coach and spent the past six months preparing and conquering the test.

The National “C” License course consists of approximately 25 classroom hours and 45 field sessions hours. Classroom sessions involve active candidate participation and use game and training videos as a learning tool.

“The biggest takeaway for me was that we should be doing this for the well-being of the kids. Also, we need to learn how to coach the game through the player’s eyes. Not as the coaches but through their eyes so that we see what they are seeing and help them in that environment.” – Coach Florez

Coach Nick Leduc is a legend. Coming off of a killer season with the 2010 Premier Boy’s Team that finished in the Top Ten in the State, he’s stepping up in a big way to take our club to the next level. In one of his first actions as the Youth Academy Director, he rolled out The 520 Club. What is it? Only the best, pre-practice, parent-saving, kid-loving soccer experience on the planet.

Starting at 5:20 PM, all Jr. Academy athletes from our competitive teams will get some added touches, run through dynamic warm-ups, and scrimmage in small-sided matches. The first session kicked off today with great success, where 24 dedicated athletes showed up, worked hard, and had a blast!

Don’t take our word for it, watch this:

“We wanted to up our service offering to our families and we do that with the 520 Club. Now parents can drop their athletes off early, the kids can get warmed up before practice, and added touches are always a benefit”, says Leduc.

Are you a current JR Academy Parent? Be sure to check out the sessions for FREE.

Not a BRSC athlete yet? Well, you can always reach out to us and get on our radar. Let’s do it!

Congratulations to Coach Nick and the 2010 Boys Premier Team on being the 2021 March Madness tournament champions!
